Congratulations!!!!

the girly chain gift

I dropped by at internet café this morning. As I habitually do when browsing the internet, I opened many tabs and entered the links of the site I frequent into—blogs (my blog, my favorite blog and some others), FaceBook and twitter. I checked if there’s new “thing” in my blog page and noticed that there’s new comment from kiko that said, “oi punta ka ulit sa blog ko... may regalo ako sa iyo...” Being oblivious of the chain award in the blogging industry, I was surprised by it and immediately went to kiko’s blog. Then there his new entry entitled Unang Award.
The picture popped in this post is the “gift”. Girly nga lang. I think not apt for boys. Haha! Apologies fella bloggers!
Since chain gift nga po, I have to pass it on to 15 newly discovered blogger(s). Pero honestly, wala akong ka-close sa blog sphere. Anyway, I still want to comply with the rules.

SALAMAT nga pala pareng KIKO. Haha!!!

Here are the lucky recipients:

Kuya Zeb

KikomaXxx

Ser Mots

Ishmael

Peter

Will

Nene

Helen

Claudio

ax:L

Al

Mervin

Prodigal Child

Dhayveed

Dhianz

Hayan po!!! Kung bakit ko kayo pinili, dahil magaganda--ewan!!! di aku makahagilap ng tamang term para sa inyong blog..:)
Pero may mga rules nga po pala tayo..

Dapat daw....

1. Accept the award. Post it on your blog with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.

2. Pay it forward to 15 other bloggers that you have newly discovered.

3. Contact those blog owners and let them know they’ve been chosen.

Do I need one?

Every time anyone asks me kung may boyfriend daw ba ako. My answer always goes, "wala. Three years ng wala.." Well, it is true. I had my first boyfriend three years ago and the second one? I haven't met him yet. Haha! Seriously, 'yung mga "bata" kasi, di naniniwala. I mean, my classmates who often ask me about it. (I am three or four years ahead of them). Kung bakit ko naman binabanggit to? Kasi naman, noon ko pa napapansin. Very reason why I have not entered any serious relationship since I broke up with my first boyfriend, Ronald. Men gave me reasons not to trust them. No matter how I wish, how I want to try another relationship, I can't and I just really can't. My mind and my hypothalamus??? haha.... contradicts each other. I have had some prospects and I found one I really wanted to give a chance but my mind shouts???? haha!!! I can't be certain what words formed at the back of my mind but it told me that I should not take the feeling seriously.

Well, here are some of the reasons why guy, man, boy or whatever you call yourself human being who is my opposite. (ha-ha!)

  • When I had my first affair with a guy, this RJ moron has another girl who happened to be my schoolmate. It was when I was a senior high school.
  • When I met Mr. AC, he went too close to me and unexpectedly, I fell for him only to know that he loved another girl who happened to be one of our common friends.
  • I have met guys who talked of nothing but flesh satisfaction. They are so sensual! They even frankly told me what they want..to have a deeper and intimate affair with me!! that's bullshit!
  • I just recently had an affair with a man who always doubt me as a flirt. My God! (Nasa mukha ko ba?)
  • I even met a man who told me that I will be his bride. ONE OF THEM! Ugh... antipatiko! (in his dreams!!!)
  • Boys who can't stick with his girl—whose hobby is fooling around.

Well, last night, someone just confided in me and asked for some counsels. Then she and another one asked me kung may boyfriend ako, eto naman yung mga naisip kong walang kwenta.

My Favorite blog page

When I started blogging, I was still unaware of what really "blog" means. It comes from the word "web log". (Yun lang yung natatandaan ku). Haaha! Pero joke lang, alangan naman kasing i-define ko pa.

I've been browsing blogs on the web for me to understand more what to do with this blog, how to blog and what to blog. Mine is a kind of, well, on line diary/journal where I unbosom anything that would annoy or inspire me. I did not make this account to entertain anyone, I did not intend to socialize or make friends but it's my way to lighten up myself when dispirited or anything but there are things I can't share here or publicize.

I have been in the blogging world for more than a year now. I have had visited many blog pages and known that blogger(s) have different purposes in blogging but one common thing among us--blogger(s)--is that we do it as a hobby. I just recently had time to search for blogs worth an admiration and I want to share this one I am fond of, "ser mots", "tatay mots", "good morning tatay", as many of his followers call him. Just go immediately to http://motsmots.blogspot.com/. He has a unique way of giving entertainment to his readers. I can't recall how I got into his page but since I had visited it, I spend most of my time in surfing the net reading his posts at nakikibasa na lang din ng mga komento sa mga entry niya. I even spend my vacant time at e-lib just to visit his blog. Nakakatuwa lang kasi talaga basahin yung mga di naman walang kwentang post niya..:)

ps: e-mail posting po ang gamit ko kaya url ang naka-type..:)

Accounting

Three years ago, I had taken up the subject Accounting 1(Basic Accounting). That time, I could be certain that I would get a grade below the grading cut-off. Although I was then very sure on my chosen endeavor as a CPA wannabe, this instinctive laziness led me to susceptible slip-up. But in three years of being away from school matters—when I left school—I have realized what went wrong, what I did wrong and that I really want to become like Dad, a CPA. Through all those years of ennui, I had wished of nothing but to rectify all those mistakes and get back to school to pursue what I had been dreaming.
Retaking the course now here at Saint Mary’s University, I now reaped this fervor to revision on my curriculum. I/We had just met our instructor for the subject, he talks so slowly, carefully but clearly which makes me listen to him so thoughtfully and understand each word he has to say that I even wish that it can be fast-forwarded for us to finish the topics we will have to tackle in no time, and also to go through the challenge once more.
Wish me luck!:)

Second day of second semester

I could see no one and I am nowhere in a familiar world. It was a background of black and white I knew but dim for me to recognize which place it was. I could hardly move any part of my body--my hands and my fingers, my toes. I wanted to shout but no voice formed out from my lips. I tried to let my body fall from the bed where I was lying but it was as if someone was strongly and powerfully holding me. It seemed to take my breath away. Then I prayed but got no response from above so I almost decided to give up. I thought it'd be my end. No! I couldn't accept and just let it happen. I remained optimist to get back in the lively world. You are certain about what I am talking about, aren't you? It was such a nightmare (ha-ha!) so happened very early in the morning when I went back to sleep. Thanks God! He woke me up from a very bad dream.

I got up to prepare for my 10:00 class, my first class for today. It was almost 10 when I finished my bath and I wouldn't want to be late. I rushed, rushed and rushed. Well, I am already used to this kind of routine--waking up late and preparing for school in the last minute--BUT very well I also know that I have to change, to turn it right.

I neatly dressed myself in proper school uniform--dark blue skirt (I don't really know what color it is), tucked-in
buttoned white blouse for top and black flat shoes with black foot socks. I entered my class but it's the instructor who wasn't present. I don't really know why during first days of each semester, most of the instructors absent themselves or maybe they're around but prefer to get out of the way for the not yet official schedules for subjects/classes they would handle.

Now, while waiting for the bell to ring, for our next class, I decided to spend an hour here at the school e-lib.

Til next time.:)

First day of second semester

This is the first day of classes for the second semester 2010-2011. Like what I said yesterday, I am not yet prepared for it but I tried to get prepared though.
Well, one thing that amazes me is that the feeling that I couldn't make it right for the first day turned the other way around. As I was walking along the covered walk, I bumped off with my former classmates--Sarah who is used to calling me "Ate", Joymee, Charlie, Jessa and many others. Receiving a hug from a friend makes me feel somewhat important or at least, it says that I have a part in this friend's life. A bundle of laughter shouldn't be missed for the flashes of wits from each of us.
For this semester which I love to say the beginning of REAL CHALLENGE, a big change in my usual routine should be made. That is to prioritize my studies for now and 'til I reach the finish line of my race--hit the books--read, read and read. I remember hearing an advice from accounting instructor, to read ten pages of accounting book daily! That's no joke I am not used to but one of the changes I have to take. I even ask friends for an advice or tips in order not to be tired with my studies easily. Can you give me some? Just email me on renzginez@ymail.com. Thank you!

I also want to share my encounter this morning.

I went to school at around 9am to drop by at the registrar's office to get myself officially enrolled. I had to queue up with the long line of students finishing the flow of enrollment so I joined them. It was really a long line then, it was about my turn to be enrolled, I remembered that I didn't bring my receipt that was needed to be officially enrolled. I went back to my boarding house to get it. Fortunately, there was no one queuing up by the other registrar representative when I got back to school--I was able to avoid the hassle and entered my first period class for the day!

Til my next post!

Back to school

Just got here in Bayombong.

I am not yet ready for the second semester for I thought classes will begin on Monday and not tomorrow. I was still making a summary of our major subject yesterday which is a part of my preparation for this semester and I must admit that I felt excitement--excitement that was gone when I received a message from my former classmates announcing the start of classes. I can say that I had plans as schooling gets back on my nerves though not well-planned for I failed to make an organized concepts I will have to venture.

As for now, I must get over with this hang-up of being insignificantly frustrated. I have to adjust! Get back to being inspired, do what is must and should not let peevishness prevail.

I'm not yet acquainted with college stuffs--what to do now? Argh..

Tomorrow will be another beginning of my race and I am not able to know beforehand what lies ahead. I know, shoestring life will undoubtedly come my way but I must have learned from the past to remain composed despite the bad situation.

Things I have learned during my first four months of being away from home, family and high school peers:

  • * self-possession..

I'm still learning to calm down when I can't get what I want and don't meet my expectations.

  • * saying sorry..

to apologize is the least thing I could do even it's me who worth the blame or who made a damage. Somehow, God let me learn and still letting me learn.

  • * doing house chores for my own..

Since I have no one to command to get me this or that, no one to ask to buy me a food, mom isn't around to do the cooking each meal time and I don't have my own washing machine to do my laundry faster and easier, I have learned to be slightly independent and do things myself--to hand-wash, prepare my food, organize my things and so on.

This is all for now.:)

a date to remember

It’s already 3AM here in the Philippines. Updating my blog even nothing seems come to my mind right at this very moment.
Saturday (October 30)…
It was such a busy day for the whole family. We were on the go preparing for mom’s birthday celebration and blessing bash for our newly opened water refilling station. Even neighbors and friends joined and helped us in the preparation of foods. I can’t narrate much about the foods but one thing is for sure, everyone got full.
God continues showering us with blessings. What I ask Him is that He may continue guiding us and with His mighty hands, we may not depart from the right path and that the blessings He just bestowed upon us would be utilized in glorifying Him.
Oops!!! I almost forgot what really made me blissful and blessed this day. I don’t know if it was a luck or what but I like to say that I have been granted a wish to be with the whole family made this date worth-remembering. For the first time in my 20 years of existence befell this momentous treasured memory.
Another one that made my night mirthful though partly somber,
My sisters invited their boyfriends in the celebration. This Vinnie guy, my sis Rhae’s boy, jokingly told me, “Kawawa naman si Pen oh! Walang pair.” Guess what my response was! Being far from my man who’s in abroad, but still loyal to my second boyfriend, it makes no sense to fool around. Well, I jokingly said but seriously said that they’ll meet my man when we will have our marriage vows. Ha-ha!

momentous day

I just made an effort to get here at the computer shop in order to update my blog though I have nothing much to say. I actually wanted to make an update last Wednesday while I was teaching my sister-in-law on how to use messenger but my friends followed me here at the net café and invited me to jam with them.
Last Tuesday, I went to Bayombong and enrolled for the second semester. I was touched when I met up with my friends/classmates along the covered walk and each of them gave me a not-so-big hug. They were happy to see me and it was such a fortunate moment for me.
Even before school year 2010-2011 began, I had wished to be in the block A class for the second semester and I just honestly found a way to get in. and I made it! My classmates showed their support and I wanna thank them for believing that I can do far better than what I had shown them during the first semester. They even gave me sermons as one of them said, “Next sem ate, wala ng jamming jamming. Magbasa-basa ka na lang.” They may be younger than I for them to reprimand me like a kid but I appreciate their support and trust in what I can do.
As of now, I am just hopped-up for the start of real challenge. And I just want to share that we are preparing for a celebration for my mom’s birthday. For the first time, neighbors will see our family complete—the Ginez family, created by Mr. Federico Ginez and Mrs. Leonida Bacani, with their nine fruits. I will try to blog about it.:)

LUCKY I AM

Last week, I was just so problematic and down—yes, so down and depressed—for I thought I would be asked to leave school again. Oh! Not again. I hate the life I had left. I hated the life of bystander and I will never be one anymore. That's a promise.
Well, I feel so great and blessed and prized and prioritized right now. My brother arrived home from Cavite yesterday. We had serious discussion together with our two other siblings. Then he said his decision. I will continue my studies but my sister have to leave hers. I could feel my sister's bitter acceptance of our brother's decision but somehow, it'd pass just like what I had felt three years ago—I even cried out loud (Good thing is that it's not yet the final choice, maybe he will change his mind). You know the feeling of being prioritized? I feel it. And I love this feeling. Being one of the priorities for now is like an achievement because it means something; it means that I am noticed for my desire to finish a degree.
I want to share what happened a week before final examination in our first semester. Well, it was two weeks before the exam, Ma'am Padre, our English 1a instructor, chose me to join English competition together with three other classmates. It was surprising for me since the subject is one of my weaknesses and lucky I was. I participated in the reading comprehension field. It was the first elimination round and I must say that it was easy as pie but I really don't want to expect that I passed it (we are not yet informed of the result). This fortunate day was a perfect day for me to reflect on my doings and assumed its negative views that I couldn't see or I failed to see rather. In taking my studies during the first semester, I had this thought that real challenge had not yet began and this real challenge I refer to is the accounting subject we had to struggle for to pass it. This very thought urged me to take my studies too easily. It's like the competition I joined. Games, contests, competitions or whatever you want to name it, begin in easy mode, followed by medium and the final round is the difficult mode. Having it realized is helpful on its very own ways to make me transform in any way. I must thank GOD for this.
Easy mode in my chosen endeavor was the first semester. But I think I would possibly fail myself for the slight negligence I spared for my studies. Failing in the easiest mode would be an obstruction for me to continually battling in my race. That was it! It was an invalid guiding principle to push on my pursuit. I am just so fortunate to somehow pass my grades. I should be better next semester where "real challenge" will begin.
Tomorrow, I'll be going to Bayombong to enroll myself.
