She Copped Champion

Let me introduce "she" first. She's Justine Ericz Ginez Tapang, my oldest sibling's second daughter who's now in fourth year high school and a candidate for valedictorian.

On October, she participated in Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at Pinaripad National High School and joined photo journalism and news writing as her events. she luckily bagged second place in photo journalism and third place in news writing english cathegory and qualified for Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) that was held in Ilagan, Isabela last month (November). Again, she must have a victory party for the reason she copped first place in photo journalism english cathegory and received a trophy.

She reached the top!
She will be representing our region (Region II: Cagayan Valley Region) in National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) which will be held in Davao on February 2010.
Imagine a first timer?
Well, just like my sisters as well as my parents, certainly, I'm just a proud tita>:))

week long vacation in Pangasinan

October 29, 2009 (Thursday). We left house at past 9am and got to Santiago City at around 10am. We got on board at an ordinary bus liner immediately. After 7 hours, we reached Rosales. Another 30-45 minutes, we finally got to our destination, Sta. Maria, Pangasinan.
We stayed at the rest house (Uncle Choy and family’s residential house). I thought I’d be frazzled with boredom but I had my stay really “sulit”.
October 30 (Friday). We (me and my two older sisters) ourselves for the registration in comelec but numerous registrants were at the comelec office, registering of course, so we decided to take the last hour of registration for the day. That day was my nephew Leonard’s seventh birthday so we spent our day at their house until 7pm (the celebration was held at night). After taking our dinner, we headed no town hall, newly built townhall.
We took a tour and took pictures in some corners. If you’re inside the building, you won’t say it’s a town hall, you’d rather say you’re inside a residential house. We enjoyed our night and I couldn’t help but marvel at the success and beauty of the place.
After the tour, we then went to the comelec office to register.:))

November 2. four of us went back home.
[can’t show the photos, I haven’t uploaded them yet..:((]

Today I Will Judge Nothing That Occurs

This is just a share of thought I've got in a book 'LOVE IS LETTING GO OF FEAR' by GERALD G. JAMPOLSKY.

Last month (September), I read the book from cover-to-cover but of course, with several pauses. Just as usual, I slipped through it, turning its pages, skipping every uninteresting detail, diving in a page that could catch my interest and there, the subject of thought (TODAY I WILL JUDGE NOTHING THAT OCCURS), attracted my eyes and so, I started reading the book at the page right away.

I like the short paragraph that says, "Not judging others is another way of letting go of fear and experiencing Love. When we learn not to judge others--and totally ACCEPT them and NOT WANT to change them--we can simultaneously learn to accept ourselves." I think, it's a big help for our self-transformation or changing our behavior into better one.

According to the author, everything we think, do and say reacts on us like a boomerang. On my own words, what we give is what we get. When we give off or send out judgments of any form, they come back to us. When we give away ONLY LOVE, it also comes back to us. Which one do you prefer then?=)
Let's say for instance, I once clashed with someone, I spoke out criticisms and judgments against her and so, I received the same thing from her. I hate it! I realized I should not have spoke out such judgments and criticisms against her.
Who would want to be judged and criticized, anyway? None, no one, agree? I guess you do. So now, be willing to forebear making judgment of any form--criticism, fury or any attack thoughts. Stop sending out condemning judgments against anyone you meet or even think about. See them as either extending love or sending out a call for help which is a request for love.
You might think and say that being non-judgmental is impossible and is a very difficult task. However, our willingness in practicing being this way is a necessity. Don't you think it's our way to self-transformation?

Laughter,the Best Medicine

Just want to share you some jokes..
Hope you can relate..

◘After weeks of getting the cold shoulder from his wife, the unhappy husband confronted her. "Admit it, Linda," he said. "The only reason why you married me is because my grandfather left me 10 million dollars."
"Don't be ridiculous," she replied. "I don't care who left it to you".

◘A couple had been for 25 years and were celebrating their 60th birthdays. During the party, a fairy appeared. "Because you have been such a loving couple all these years, I will grant you each one wish", said the fairy.
"I'd like to travel round the world" said the wife. The fairy waved her wand and boom! The wife had an airline ticket in her hand.
Then it was the husband's turn. "Well," he said shyly after pausing for a moment, "I'd like to have a woman 30 years younger than me". With this, the fairy waved her wand and boom! He was 90 years old.

◘A young boy arrived late to his Sunday School class. He was normally punctual so the teacher asked him if anything was wrong.
"No," said the boy. "I had planned to go fishing, but my father told me that i had to go to church instead."
Impressed, the teacher asked the boy if the father explained why it was more important to go to church than to go fishing.
"Yes," the boy replied. "He said he didn't have enough bait for both of us."

At A Burtdei Party

Taken on December 22,2008--my cousin Aleeah Jiselle's 5th birhtday party-- at their resthouse(the resthouse serves as their home) in Sta. Maria, Pangasinan held at night.. Although, it was a children's party, we enjoyed being there. There were mascots of cartoon characters such as dora the explorer and spongebob squarepant(i seem forgotten the other one, that's why i cant name them all). They also hired clowns for amusement. We took shots with the clowns and the mascots but unluckily, i don't have all the shots uploaded in my friendster profile due to lacking of time. It really was for kids. They served lots of healthy dishes for dinner. The grown-up men took a quaff of liqour. We also had swimming in their own pool at the resthouse. We had the party 'til midnight.:))

At a picnic

I and my tita flor posed for a remembrance taken by ghiel during the picnic at my uncle's rice field in pangasinan. Unluckily,i couldn't upload our group pictures during meal time. Well,it was such a fun to have a family gathering.
